Is acupuncture covered by insurance?

I accept many major insurance plans including, but not limited to HealthNet, Empire Blue Cross, CIGNA, MultiPlan and POMCO.

Please check with your insurance company for their rules about acupuncture coverage and reimbursement.

How much does a treatment cost?

The initial consultation is $135.00.  This includes a thorough intake to determine the underlying causes of the illness and a Chinese medical diagnosis.  Treatment may or may not be rendered depending on existing agreements with insurance companies.

Is acupuncture covered by medicare?

Unfortunately medicare does not cover acupuncture.  If you would like to see coverage for acupuncture, please contact your government representatives and let them know.
